My check-in experience was quite frustrating. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room, but was given one that reeked of cigarette smoke. Despite waiting for a new room, I was disappointed with the lack of communication and late availability. It took almost four hours to get a suitable room, and the overall service left much to be desired.

It was just a fine choice for spending a night in Guangzhou with decent value for money. I had a great experience with the friendly staff, especially Ashley, who ensured I enjoyed a lovely and unrushed dinner on my first night. Make sure to check in early to avoid any delays.

The view from my Luxury King room on the 16th floor was absolutely breathtaking, and breakfast was delicious with a great spread to choose from. I really enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the massage services, making my stay super relaxing. The check-in was a bit slow, but overall, I can’t wait to come back! 🌟

my stay at sofitel was fantastic! i loved the beautiful superior king room with stunning city views. the staff went above and beyond, especially during check-in, making me feel welcome right away. the breakfast was massive and had a great selection, and i really enjoyed the indoor pool and spa facilities. it was a short walk to the metro, but taxis are super cheap too!

The hospitality at this place was truly remarkable. our daughter was having some trouble with her tummy, and the staff rushed to provide her with some ginger tea that really helped her feel better. Plus, the breakfast buffet. it was absolutely fantastic! ! We had everything from pancakes to dim sum, a selection that left us speechless!

It wasn’t cheap, but the experience was totally worth it.

Checking in felt a bit drawn out, especially after a long flight, with a wait of over half an hour before finally making it to the counter. The lighting in the room needs work. some bulbs were out and overall brightness felt uneven—made it hard to navigate and get a good look before choosing an outfit. Additionally, some furnishings appeared dated, particularly the lacquer wood finish and carpets that showed noticeable stains.
